Shopping for British & Irish food in France

Although not known for its cuisine in the same way as our adopted country of France, many expats still crave the flavours of home. Whether it’s the sounds and smells of sizzling bacon under the grill, the taste of sausages made from real Irish pork, or just one of the many condiments and sauces that we grew up with, expats’ taste buds are salivating at the thought of a bit of cooking from the country of our birth.

We at UK Home Shopping have established a reliable and well respected business bringing UK and Irish goods into France for years. Of course, good old Brexit had quite an impact and has meant that we tend to source the majority of our products from Ireland. This has had a benefit of giving us access to some of the finest Irish meats and other products as well as many of the more traditional British food items.

Each month, we combine all of the web site orders, and order pallets of goods from our suppliers, separated into dry, chilled and frozen, and these are delivered to our warehouse using certificated transporters. Once at the warehouse, we pack the individual orders and these are sent out in vans with built in freezers and chilled compartments.

We currently operate 3 routes across France and we look to expand these once we have enough orders and enquiries. You can see the routes and their Drop Off Points on the Delivery Routes page.

Ordering is very easy – browse the web site by category to find your food items and select the quantity and Add to basket – you can also use the Product Search feature to find specific items. When your basket is full, simply checkout.
If this is your first order then you need to use a credit or debit card to pay for it – future orders can be paid for at collection at the Drop Off Point if you prefer.

We try and keep some essentials in stock at the warehouse, these are labelled as In Stock and everything else is identified as Backorder – that means you can order them at any time and they will be added to the next consolidated order with the suppliers.

We do everything that we can to ensure that your shopping experience is the best it can be and we are always available to discuss any specific issues or requests that you may have – get in touch on the Contact page.

Finally, if you have your own Shop or Market Stall then we would love to hear from you. We cater for both retail and wholesale customers so please get in touch and we are sure to be able to help you.
